🚀 Are you a PhD student or early-career researcher focusing on Central Asia? Apply for the El Umiti 1+1 Program, a unique exchange initiative by Data Lab, and the Central Asia Program (CAP) at George Washington University (GWU)!

🔹 What is the El Umiti 1+1 Program?

This funded internship provides two scholars with the opportunity to conduct research abroad:

🔸 1 scholar from Kazakhstan will be hosted at GWU (Washington, D.C.)

🔹 Duration: Up to 3 months (Summer 2025)

🔹 Fully funded: Travel and stipend

⏳ Deadline: April 5, 2025

📌 Who Can Apply?

✅ PhD holders (awarded in the last 10 years) or current PhD students

✅ For holders of citizenship of Kazakhstan

✅ English proficiency required

✅ Experience in academia, government, or NGOs is a plus

📚 Research Areas:

🌍cooperation in education, health, environmental issues, and food or energy security—that could contribute to discussions on regionalization processes and potential obstacles.
